About Our Coffee
We’re a couple who’ve shared life - and countless cups of coffee - for over 25 years. Coffee has always been part of our story. For us, it’s more than a drink - it’s a way to slow down, connect deeply, and share joy with others. That passion sparked our journey to create Brew Line Coffee. Living in Chicago, we’re inspired by the city’s vibrant spirit, its iconic intersections, and the rich culture and people who make every neighborhood unique.​
We’re a small, local business born on one of Chicago’s bustling corners, dedicated to bringing people together, one cup at a time. Just like the train lines that weave through Chicago, our coffee connects neighborhoods, cultures, and people.
From Guatemala’s Mountains to Your Cup
That connection stretches all the way to the mountains of Santa Cruz Barillas in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, where our beans begin their journey. Sourced directly from over 1,000 smallholder farmers of ASOBAGRI, each bean is grown organically with care, tradition, and deep respect for the land.
Roasted in Chicago
Every batch is roasted locally at Tailwind Roasting in Chicago, where we work in small batches to ensure each roast is always fresh and perfectly crafted. This hands-on approach gives us full control over flavor and quality, while supporting local business and keeping our coffee connected to the community we love.

Grown High, Crafted with Care
Our coffee is grown at altitudes between 3,280 and 6,234 feet above sea level, under a canopy of native shade trees that protect biodiversity and enhance flavor. Each cherry is hand-picked at peak ripeness, ensuring only the finest make it into your cup.

Pure, Ethical, and Award-Winning
We work exclusively with organic, Fairtrade-certified microlots, recognized in national and international competitions for their exceptional quality. Every lot is processed with the washed method, naturally sun-dried, and carefully stored to preserve its character.

At Brew Line Coffee, we’re proud to serve true specialty coffee - the highest grade of coffee in the world. Scoring an impressive 84-87 points with the Specialty Coffee Association, our beans stand out for their rich aroma, vibrant flavors, and exceptional balance.
